Fabulous ehc trek experience with Lets trek Himalayas

Fabulous ehc trek experience with Lets trek Himalayas . I recommendation all if Australian. 4.5/5 hospitality. This is my experience.

    Day 1 .
Day 1 I arrived in Kathmandu , met my good friend Suman bhaniya who picked me up from the airport and also who I organised my whole trip with . Checked into the green horizon hotel in Thamel . We decided to walk the busy streets of Thamel which was a great experience. The clubs in thamel were very entertaining music and Nepali gurkha beer was very tasty .

    Day 2
Day 2 was Everest trek preparation day we brought all our trekking equipment and gear . Lunch time we decided to try tasty Nepal momos which was delicious and tea .
Night time we packed all our bags for Everest trek the next day .

    Day 3
Woke up at 4:30 am and left the hotel at 5 am for our early morning flight at 6 am . Suman bhai picked me up from my hotel . We left Kathmandu at 6:30 . The flight was very entertaining and scary . While we landed in lukla the views of the peaks were exceptional I was blown away how nice the airport was and the runway was tiny . We trekked 3.5 hours from lukla to phakdhing . The trek was good legs got abit tired in the end but we made it .

    Day 4
Phakdhing to namche . We left phakdhing approximately 7 am and were on our way to namche bazar . We came across beautiful wildlife and difficult route along the way . The pathway was all up hill which was very challenging physically and mentally . We stopped for lunch at mojo jhorsalle at 11 am to regain energy for the trek to namche . The views of the hills and river were incredible . By the time we reached namche I was blown away by the architecture of the buildings and Buddha statues we came across . We arrived namche at 1 pm making our trek duration 6 hours .

    Day 5

Acclimatise day . Ray 5 was a relaxing day to acclimatise to the altitude of 3400 m above sea level . We went on a small hike above the hill overlooking namche bazaar where we had taken our photos of the beautiful valley and mountains .

    Day 6
Tick tick tick it was time to wake up and brush our teeth to get ready for a big day that was ahead of us namche to tengbouche. We left at 7 am after having our morning brekkie . The trek was magnificent hilly pathway along with stunning wildlife and mountains . The trek had taken us 6 hours to reach to tengbouche by the time we got there we were out of energy to do anything . Tengbouche was a quiet relaxing place along with the worlds highest monastery 3800 m above sea level . I started to get a headache due to the altitude so I had taken Panadol to ease the pain. Early morning we left tengbouche and the views were breathtaking. You could see ama dablam and Everest clearly that was a wonderful sight .

    Day 7

Tengbouche to dingbouche was very challenging the journey was mostly uphill which tested our physical activity. I was starting to feel very run down and drained from walking 6 hours a day daily . The pathway was very rocky we crossed a few suspension bridges and stopped for lunch at somare for dhaal bhaat a traditional Nepalese lunch . By the time we made it ti dingbouche we were exhausted the weather had changed it was very cold and windy . The altitude was starting to effect us . We made a few friends along the way which was pleasing

    Day 8

Rest day at dingbouche I was really ill so I spent most of the day getting some rest and plenty of fluids to ease the pain of the headache. We spent the day in the Sun laughing and enjoying the beautiful view of ama dablam . The day went by we had to pack all of our hiking gear for a long trek ahead of us the next day .

    Day 9

Was a early start to the day we left the good luck hotel at 6:30 am to begin our trek to lubouche . The views of the mountains and valleys was magnificent you can’t explain it you have to see it in real life to experience it . We made a friend from India along the way he joined us for the rest of the trek to Everest base camp . The trek wasn’t too difficult it was uphill and downhill mostly . We came across yaks that had made us stop along the way because we couldn’t get past . 6 hour trek to lubouche was very tiring and draining because of the altitude and weather . When we reached lubouche we stopped at the worlds highest bakery and cafe which is approximately 5000m in altitude! The views of the mountain were very beautiful . Our friend Sony raj was very entertaining and quiet humerous which made us get by .

    Day 10
Day 10 what a morning it was , it was very chilly below 1 degrees and the views were spectacular. The hike to gorekshep wasn’t very difficult the pathway was Steady . The views of the mountains were mind blowing I couldn’t describe the scenes you have to be there to see . When we reached gorekshep we stopped for lunch for an hour then made our way to Everest base camp . We reached Everest base camp 2 hours later from gorekshep . I was very happy to finally make it after experiencing altitude sickness .

    Day 11

4 am wake up to hike kala pathar summit it was freezing below -10 degrees . It was a 3 hour hike to the summit we reached there at 7 am while the sun was rising . The views of Everest was magnificent I couldn’t be any happier when the trek and my guide Suman bhaniya let’s trek Himalayas.

    Day 12

We went sightseeing to pushupatinath temple and boudhanath stupa where we stopped for lunch at the Himalayan Java coffee cafe . Boudhanath was absolutely beautiful seeing the monastery there . Highlight of the day was seeing the cremations at pushapatinath and the rituals that were taken on the day .

Gokyo Ri & Chola Pass! 110% RECOMMENDATION to Lets trek Himalayas!

Cannot recommend this trek and this team enough!

Phenomenal trip, great value and service was above and beyond. Having talked to other trekkers, other companies are also cheap but the service is nothing compared to the team at Lets trek himalayas as Suman pays attention to details from the time to wake up to providing me with hot water when I was sick to giving me first aid advice when I needed, to helping me through Chola Pass.

Really enjoyed the time I spent on this trip on the silver package, from the unlimited hot drinks to the accommodation with attached bathrooms. The momo is highly recommended but I would stay away from yak or animal products in the mountains. I would also take sanitation tablets for the water so that you wouldn't need to buy water on a daily basis. The expenses on the mountains were high as I was buying the water daily.

It was freezing everyday once we passed Namche but great dramatic picturesque views and landscapes on a daily basis. Really a once in a lifetime experience because you don't realise how much your mind and body can endure until you're at the limit.

Gokyo Ri is a must! You can see more of the 8000 peaks much clearer from gokyo ri - the views were more dramatic and there are less people on the treks so it felt much more exclusive compared to everest BC trek alone.

Chola pass was challenging but again made possible by Suman and his team. Great team spirit and I felt supported all the way. Clearly the team are experienced in the mountains with the client's needs at heart.

5 days trip to the heart of the Himalayas (Namche)

Fun cultured experience. We only had 5 days in the heart of the Himalayas but wanted to experience everything so Suman advised a 2 days trek from lukla to namche then spent another 2 days in Namche which is the heart of the Himalayas before flying back to Kathmandu via helicopter.

The first 2 days of trekking was slightly busy as expected on the everest trail to Namche but it was beautiful none the less. The 2 days spent in and around Namche gave me great views of the Khumbu Vallet region and Everest. We also went to Everest Next to watch the sustainable art project in Namche and got to experiece Yoga looking at the mountains. It was serene. There was also the cultural museum in Namche which exposed us to the life and history of the Namche setters. After all of the trekking and cultural exposure in Namche, we were ready to go back to Kathmandu. Suman organized a heliopter ride for us back which gave us amazing bird eye views of bustling Kathmandu.

Highly recommend if you want to see the heart of the Himalayas but dont have alot of time.
