Beliefs In Gosaikunda Lake And Samundra Manthan

Gosaikunda is the home of Lord Shiva and Gauri in Hindu mythology. It's thought that Lord Shiva created the lake by striking the mountain with his holy trident to draw water for drinking. When thousands of pilgrims congregate for the Janai Purnima festival, which occurs at the full moon in August. the waterways provide special significance.

Samudra Manthan derives the Hindu scriptures Bhagavata Purana and Vishnu Purana. This is a place to discover the Amrita, also known as the "nectar of immortality." Samundra Manthan is a toxic poison. that poison started to annihilate everything.

Lord Shiva ingested the poison and suffered a neck burn. he set out to wander the earth in search of a spot where it was chilly. He pounded the hill at Gosainkunda with his trident. He drank the chilly water, and then dragged himself into the lake. That is why Hindus hold Gosaikunda Lake in such high regard.
