Aside from modernization, the people’s primary way of life is one of the most appealing characteristics of the trek. So, if you love to travel to these sorts of places then Everest View Trek is for you.

Everest View Trek offers a variety of Nepal's magnificent mountain landscapes as well as one-of-a-kind cultural interactions with the Sherpa people and their vibrant, deeply connected Buddhist culture. This walk is ideal for anyone who desires to take in the incredible splendor of the Nepalese Himalayas, especially Everest, while also taking part in a straightforward hike.

How to prepare for the Everest View Trekking

We are always concerned about preparation before starting the trekking. As Everest View Trek is an ideal option for beginner trekkers the route is well-defined and has a limited altitude that a normal person can perform with some basic trekking preparation.

Although the trek does not take you to the strenuous part of the Everest route, you will be walking for 4 to 6 hours a day during your expedition and those who don’t walk very often can feel the journey to be somehow difficult. So, walking 2 to 3 Km a day and training your leg muscles, and performing the short-day hike in your areas can boost your trekking stamina and help you walk easily during your trekking days.

Traveling Solo? Know about Single Supplementary Cost

Lets Trek Himalayas will charge a single supplement cost to clients who are traveling alone and want a room to themselves. Its purpose is to pay for the additional space that is not being shared with anyone else. Depending on the trip package, the kind of hotel, and the services being reserved, the single supplement's cost may fluctuate.

Single supplement costs can be quite significant, with some tour operators charging as much as 50-100% more for a single occupancy room. This can make it difficult for solo travelers to afford to take a trip.

Lets Trek Himalayas will offer a reduced single supplement or even waive it together during periods when we have lower occupancy rates. We specialize in serving solo travelers and offer affordable rates for single-occupancy rooms.

Additionally, we also offer a "share twin" option, where single travelers can opt to share a room with a same-sex traveler. you can see our Fixed Departure dates to join the journey.

Trip Details

Everest View Trek Difficulty

Everest View Trek is an easy to moderate Trek, the initial part of the hike is easy and the path is marked and normal to walk crossing a village route to enter Sagarmatha National Park. the trail starts to become harder once you start your hike up from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche as we have to cross numerous rocks, steep and sloppy.

The trail leads you to a maximum altitude of 3700m to Everest View Hotel, but if you are originally from a lower altitude then you might have a chance of getting altitude sickness so, you have to perform a trek in guidelines.

Carrying a backpack for 4 to 6 hours a day can be somehow difficult. we will arrange a trekking guide and porter for your trek so you can carry a personal backpack with you and easily focus on your trek and not worry about backpacks.

Food and Drinks for Everest View Trek

Food is a key aspect while trekking in Nepal, we ensure that you have healthy and hygienic food that serves a good appetite and you can trek properly. We include Breakfast during your stay in Kathmandu and while trekking in the Himalayas.

we will provide you with three meals including Breakfast, Lunch, and the food provided during your trek days is authentic Nepalese cuisine, Tibetan, continental, and International. The trek will also include the Everest View Hotel where you can enjoy the foods you miss during the trek.

During trekking days, the water can be refilled in the tap and water sources but make sure you have water purification with you, drinking water directly from the source might make you ill. You can buy water in Tea House. You can also get to buy Energy drinks and soft drinks in Tea Houses, but soft drinks and hard drinks are not recommended during the hiking days.

Accommodation during Everest View Trek

Accommodations in Everest Region are by far the most managed and developed among all trekking trails in Nepal. We provide you with 3-star accommodation in Kathmandu and you will stay in Tea House during your Everest View Trek days.

The trekker’s lodge (teahouse) amenities in this area are excellent. Sagarmatha National Park hotel/lodge management committees and eco-conscious locals are in charge of the accommodation, and tented camping can also be arranged for those who want to experience a camping vibe with a view of Mt Everest.

Although the Tea House in Everest region is well managed, we highly recommend you include Sleeping Bag in your packing list if you are trekking during winter and peak season as well. The blankets in Tea House are not enough to prevent you from freezing.

Best Season for Everest View Trekking

You have your dream trip to see the world’s highest Mt Everest, the trails are slippery and hard to walk and all the views of the mountains are closed with cloudy rays. Does it sound good? We always make sure that the seasons are always on the priority list while trekking in the Himalayas, the weather and the trail are the main factors when choosing a season.

The most popular trekking seasons in the Everest region and also Nepal are autumn and Spring, with mild sunshine and little rain throughout these times. There is a high chance of rain while hiking in the summer (monsoon), and you could accidentally fall on slick trails.

For novice hikers, winter trekking may be challenging because they are unaccustomed to the region around Mount Everest's extreme cold. Additionally, with the possibility of temperatures as low as -25 degrees, certain trails may be blocked owing to severe snowfall.

Equipments

Below are very critical and essential trekking equipment list

  • Daypack (25–35 liters), Pack cover, Comfortable Sleeping Bag (Depends upon the season, weather forecast, and personal preference), and it is possible to rent it from Kathmandu which cost 2$ per day.
  • Crampons, Headlamp/flashlight, and extra batteries
  • High-Quality Trekking Shoes, Camp shoes (Down Booties or Running Shoes)
  • Warm clothing (fleece, down jacket, thermals)
  • Rain gear (jacket, pants)
  • Camelbak water bladder or sipper (water bottle) and purification tablets/straw.
  • Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
  • Maps and compass or GPS device
  • Trekking poles (optional)

Besides the Essentials list of Equipments and Packing, some other packing lists can come in handy for you in different situations in the Himalayas.

  • Sleeping pad and Insect repellent
  • Food and snacks
  • Multi-tool or Easy knife
  • Personal hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, wet wipes, etc.)
  • Cash, credit card, and documents (passport, visa, travel insurance, etc.)
  • Extra batteries or Solar charger
  • Portable water filter or purification system
  • Emergency whistle and Signal mirror
  • Trash Bag

It is important to note that the specific requirements for long journey treks may vary based on the destination and the duration of the trek. Hence, it is always advisable to consult a local guide or trekking company to have a comprehensive understanding of the equipment needed for a particular trek.

Also, check the weather conditions and specific requirements for the trek you plan to undertake and pack accordingly.

5 days trip to the heart of the Himalayas (Namche)

Fun cultured experience. We only had 5 days in the heart of the Himalayas but wanted to experience everything so Suman advised a 2 days trek from lukla to namche then spent another 2 days in Namche which is the heart of the Himalayas before flying back to Kathmandu via helicopter.

The first 2 days of trekking was slightly busy as expected on the everest trail to Namche but it was beautiful none the less. The 2 days spent in and around Namche gave me great views of the Khumbu Vallet region and Everest. We also went to Everest Next to watch the sustainable art project in Namche and got to experiece Yoga looking at the mountains. It was serene. There was also the cultural museum in Namche which exposed us to the life and history of the Namche setters. After all of the trekking and cultural exposure in Namche, we were ready to go back to Kathmandu. Suman organized a helicopter ride for us back which gave us amazing bird eye views of bustling Kathmandu.

Highly recommend if you want to see the heart of the Himalayas but dont have alot of time.
